Experience

I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 10 years of experience providing therapy to adults, teens and couples.  I hold a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Dominican University and attended the University of California, Davis as an undergraduate student.  On my path to licensure, I trained as a counselor at high schools in Marin and Sonoma County and as a clinical therapist at a community clinic in Marin County.  In addition, I have specialized training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for both individuals and couples.  Rooted in the science of emotions and attachment, EFT can help you to identify and transform the negative processing and interaction patterns that create distress.

Approach

I believe everyone has the capacity for change and growth. My goal is to create a safe and non-judgmental space where you can explore, heal, and discover practical strategies for positive change.

I utilize an integrative approach, exploring how past experiences inform our current beliefs and relationships, while developing practical strategies for change. With a focus on building a trusting therapeutic relationship, I tailor treatment to the unique needs of each individual or couple, helping you to navigate the complexities of life, from communication challenges to relationship dynamics. Together, we’ll explore your concerns, uncover underlying patterns, and develop strategies to help you thrive.  It is important to me that in sessions you feel seen, heard, respected, and even encouraged to laugh.

Whether you’re facing relationship issues, life transitions, or individual struggles, I’m here to support you.
